Toddler Sense is a multi-award winning activity programme, which introduces children up to 4 years old to a whole new world of adventure. The activities are designed to keep toddlers and children busy, active, and stimulated by offering them a magical, multi-adventure experience in a safe and happy environment.
Toddler Sense will be present with a fabulous timetable of excting activities, songs and soft play to keep little ones (ages 0-4) entertained throughout the day.
We are very excited to announce that there will be a fabulous range of children’s activities taking place throughout the afternoon and evening of 12th August. These include laser tag, circus skills with Juggling Jake, art and crafts workshops, laughter yoga workshops, archery, a fabulous mobile climbing wall, tractor rides around the farm, a massive inflatable obstacle course, a Baby Sensory play tent, animal visits and feeding at The Origin Training Project, football, silent disco and film tent. Plus more!!
Grab your seats and hold on tight as Farmer Tom tows you on a bouncy tour of the farm behind his big green tractor! All ages welcome.
Hampshire Kids are delighted to announce the return of Booth Star's fabulous photo booth at the Hampshire Kids Festival this year! Choose your props from the extensive prop box or bring your own then pile in to snap your photo!
Everyone will get an instant copy to take home, plus they'll be available to download after the event (look out for the link in your email).
Once again, Juggling Jake is returning to the Hampshire Kids Festival to entertain, enthrall and make you laugh out loud!
Our hilarious friend will be providing fun, frolics, play and the opportunity to learn all sorts of exciting and interesting circus skills!
With a huge and varied collection of circus equipment, Juggling Jake can teach up to 40 people at once with his fabulous structure Circus Skills Workshops, or up to 100 people with his Circus Skills Drop-In sessions.
Add another string to your bow as you brush up on your archery skills! Having been sorely missed by some last year, we are very pleased to be able to offer archery as a fantastic activity for everyone aged 4+ this year, using traditional style recurve bows and a variety of targets.
Pezzaz Football Skills Workshops
As ever, space will be made for lots of fun on the football pitch! Pezza and his team will be hosting serious skills sessions on the pitch throughout the afternoon. At the end of the day there will be a big final TOURNAMENT to checkout those new-found super skills - don'[t miss out!
We have several fantastic bands joining us for an afternoon and evening of live musical entertainment, to include:
The Paper Trains are a modern three-piece string band, with a distinctive repertoire of self-penned Americana tracks. Their music combines harmony-enriched vocals, strident guitar laced with incisive licks, banjo picking, truck stop honky-tonk piano, and sure-footed upright bass lines. These guys produce an awesome sound and are huge fun to listen to!
The Origin Training Project's Animals
Make your way over to The Origin Training Project to visit the many chickens, sheep, pigs and more! Get hands on feeding, grooming and learning all about how to look after Amy's wonderful animals. Don't miss out on the chance to Design a Scarecrow and watch out for the fabulous Craft Activities in 'The Shed' timetabled throughout the day.
Twig the Pixie
We are very excited to announce that, as part of our live entertainment this year, we will be introducing the amazing Twig the Pixie! Twig is a real pixie from The Enchanted Forest, born out of an acorn. His mum is a big beautiful oak tree. His dad is a passing wind.... Suitable for all ages, take to your seats at 6.30pm to enjoy a little bit of sparkling nonsense from a highly talented local artist.
Those that have joined us in previous years will know that it wouldn't be the Hampshire Kids Festival without a silent disco!! Come and boogie on down in the dance tent - all ages welcome!
Our fabulous DVD tent will be back, providing quiet entertainment for those flagging children who need a bit of time out!
Films will be running throughout the afternoon and evening, with showings also starting early on Sunday morning for any early risers!
Climb Vertigo are bringing along their fantastic mobile climbing wall. Open to children aged 6+. Strap yourself in and get climbing!
CREATIVE PALAVER LAUGHTER YOGA and STORYTELLING WORKSHOPS
Introducing Creative Palaver, a fabulous and innovative entertainment company who we are delighted to be joining us at HK this year. Promising to delight children of all ages with their imaginative and Creative Chronicles, we can't wait for you to experience their exciting storytelling workshops with a twist that will be running throughout the day. Stories aimed at children 3+ with family/carers and friends.
They say laughter is the best medicine. Join us for laughter-yoga, led by Professor Doctor Doctor Edga Blockhead who finds fulfilment in educating people about the healing power of laughter. Enjoy a fully interactive performance, a workshop that will take care of your daily dose of happiness and comes with a guaranteed repeat prescription. More laughter than yoga. More breathing than stretching. No dress code required, not even a sense of humour.
Feeling focused? Test your shooting skills as you hunt down your friends in this brilliant mobile laser tag unit. A fast and furious adventure for those aged 10+ - prepare to get competitive!
You can't fail but to be excited about the return of the gorgeous Timogen and Therese, the fabulous camels who visited us for the first time last year. Martine and her team will be on hand to answer questions about how the camels are cared for, what they like to eat, what their characters are like and more. They will parade around the festival site and love to be petted and stroked. Four lucky ticket holders will have the chance to have a RIDE on the camels - look out for the FREE entry raffle as you check in at reception on 12th August.

Always wanted to launch your own rocket into space? Mad about bubbles? Then Mr Tween is your man! Come and join in the DT fun as you create and build your own rocket ready to launch into Fullerton's blue skies! DT workshops running at regular intervals throughout the afternoon.
Nessie's Arts and Crafts
We're so excited to be welcoming Nessie to the Hampshire Kids Festival this year! Paints, crayons, pompoms, scissors, feathers, glue, stickers, matchsticks - it's art'n'craft heaven! Get your creative juices flowing as you help to design the biggest ever piece of fabulous wall art to decorate our main marquee.
